RELeechGION – A whodunnit chase – graphic adults comic novel

After the reasonable success of my debut novel, DATHISBRTH, and a few short stories, I have been thrilled with the warmth extended by people who chose to read my work. In continuance to my endeavor of providing good reads in the times of dwindling stories, I hereby present RELeechGION – a crime, suspense, mystery, thriller – a new twist on the classic whodunnit style of murder mysteries.

I have personally created the artwork for the dark adult comic using some tools available online. It was necessary to refrain from professionals while creating the artwork to achieve a raw feel which resonates with the story. Here is a sneak-peek:

A Penguin’s Marriage Proposal

So many things to learn from nature…today’s lesson…women will be women…man or penguin! :-p :-p ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Male Gentoo penguins search through piles of pebbles to find the smoothest, most perfect stone. When a penguin has selected his pebble, he presents it to his intended companion. If she approves, she puts the stone in her nest and the two are well on their way to becoming mommy and daddy birds.

The ‘perfect pebble’ is another way of determining the fittest mating partner. All through the wild this aspect has been observed regardless of the kind of animal. Humans use money as their ‘pebble’. Somewhere I feel men need some release from this burden for nature to evolve. Till then – time to look for my pebble. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Mystic boy

It was a lazy evening at the beach in Mumbai. I was not in any particular mood. Suddenly my eyes transfixed on the little boy, probably from the slums nearby. He was standing there trying to stop the sun from setting. He needed that extra bit of light to continue playing with his friends.

What was surprising was that the sun actually seemed to followย his command. Perspective or Mysticism – it sure was magical.

Darjeeling – 1843 church

St. Andrews Church, Darjeeling was built in the year 1843 under the supervision of Captain Bishop. It was damaged by an earthquake and rebuilt in the year 1873. A great colonial structure on the Mall road, it looks dilapidated from outside but inside is a different story. It is opposite to the Gorkha Ranga Manch and on a road going up towards the Darjeeling Tourist Lodge. Inside the church there are plaques that list some of the oldest residents of Darjeeling. A must visit.
