DATHISBRTH

Visually stimulated storytelling is an art form that has always intrigued the minds of people. Dathisbrth is such a journey. Every scene and situation was in front of my eyes as I penned it down. You will have the same experience – it is like watching a movie unfold in the form of words. Let your mind handle the camera and you be the casting agent!

The book is available on Amazon as an ebook – Buy Book

RELeechGION – A whodunnit chase – graphic adults comic novel

After the reasonable success of my debut novel, DATHISBRTH, and a few short stories, I have been thrilled with the warmth extended by people who chose to read my work. In continuance to my endeavor of providing good reads in the times of dwindling stories, I hereby present RELeechGION – a crime, suspense, mystery, thriller – a new twist on the classic whodunnit style of murder mysteries.

I have personally created the artwork for the dark adult comic using some tools available online. It was necessary to refrain from professionals while creating the artwork to achieve a raw feel which resonates with the story. Here is a sneak-peek:

Review:

This is my current read of which I still have a hangover. This is a paranormal thriller written by Sujit Sood ..
This being the debut novel, the author has done a fine job. I usually do not like this genre but I could not put it down once.. I almost finished it in one go.. It is a story of 4 friends and the mysterious turns their lives take after they meets a horrible accident. They found some changes in their world and they try to discover the reason. I can not give you any spoiler but let me tell you, its hard to guess!
Trust me this is not a ghost story or anything like that. It is a thriller which will keep you at the edge of your seat. The description of few events will actually give you a chill.
I would suggest you to pick it up to bring a change to your regular thriller routine and it would surprise you.

HOLY JESUS SATAN CHRIST… OKAY…I AM GOING TO CALM DOWN AND TRY KEEPING THIS SPOILER FREE,SHORT AND PRECISE.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I PICKED UP A TRANSCENDENTAL THRILLER? UMM…NEVER BEFORE THIS.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU ENCOUNTER A BOOK WHICH MAKES YOU GO- WHAT DID I JUST READ? (IN A GOD WAY)
BEING SOMEONE WHO IS OBSESSED WITH ETYMOLOGY, THE FIRST THING I DID WAS WHIPPING OUT A DICTIONARY AND TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE TITLE MEANS. MY NEXT STEP WAS TO UNLOCK THE MYSTERY BEHIND THE COVER ART WHICH WAS AS INTRIGUING AS THE STORY ITSELF.
DATHISBRTH IS A STORY THAT PLAY TRICKS WITH YOUR MIND, MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO YOU ON DAILY BASIS AND IN THE END LEAVES YOU IN AWE.
IT SUCCESSFULLY MERGES GENRES AND GRABS THE READER BY THE NAPE OF THEIR NECK AND BURIES THEM DEEP INTO THE BOOK.
FOUR FRIENDS- CHRIS, SAM,OLIVER AND SOFIA. THE STORY REVOLVES AROUND THEM AND ALSO BEYOND THEM. AS MESSED UP AS IT SOUNDS LIKE, IT’S SUPER FUN TO READ.
IF I HAD TO CONCLUDE MY REVIEW IN ONE WORD I’D SAY, THIS STORY IS AN OUROBOROS… A CAPTIVATING TALE ABOUT THE ENDLESS CYCLE OF LIFE AND DEATH, INCIDENTS THAT ARE NOT MEANT TO BE DEBUNKED BY SCIENCE, RELIGION OR PHILOSOPHY.
AS I FLIP THROUGH THE FINAL PAGE OF THIS BOOK, MY INITIAL HYPER CURIOSITY ABOUT THE BOOK’S TITLE IS SETTLED AND SO IS MY CURIOSITY ABOUT THE COVER- WHO IS PULLING THOSE FRAGILE STRINGS ANYWAY?

Review:

Dathisbrth is the debut novel of the author. When it comes to debut novels many people imagine it to be written on a common topic. Basically that’s what I used to believe. But coming across some books I find myself to be very wrong! The way they are written and the topic both are so new and thrilling that I can’t help myself but wonder when the author is going to write down another book.
This is what I feel after reading Dathisbrth. It’s so freaking amazing. The storyline is very unique and gripping. I could feel myself devouring it up.
How would you feel if you stop seeing any shadow? How would you feel if you start loosing everything precious in your life? Like life has suddenly lost all it’s meaning?
This is how they had been feeling – Chris, Sam, Oliver & Sofia. They face unrealistic events in life urging them to find out answers of the unknown, logic of the illogical, truth of the unbelievable. But they find their backs touching the wall as they get no meaningful answers and give up. Chris is not a guy who is going to give up on this yet. When the journey towards reaching the answers seem to end and all of them turn out to live their own separate successful lives, destiny seems to bring them all back together – their square – of – bonds.
At some times I kept on thinking how are the events going to turn out in the end AND the end it provided gave me goosebumps. A book that makes you judge your own instincts and incidents that happen with you. A thriller that thrills you to the core in a thrilling way. I wish a movie be made out of this book. It’s gonna hit the charts really hard!
P.S. – I tried my level best to keep the review spoiler proof. There are so many things I want to tell about this book but then I am absolutely going to add spoilers. So resisting myself I say, you better read this book.

Absolutely a Page Turner!

This story grabbed me immediately! I literally couldn’t stop reading and God help anyone who disturbed me. The only way I did was because I simply couldn’t stay up any longer and passed out on the pillow. If it wasn’t because I have to go to work this book would’ve been completed in 24 hours. This story keeps you going and wondering what is really going on. It’s a story wrapped around theory. Well, theory for outside speculating readers but for me I completely resonate with the author. It’s facts as far as I’m concerned. I am on his page and feel the author and I could have never ending hours of excellent conversations. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The ending was perfect! Excellent exceptional story line written to have you open your own eyes to wonder and think about what are you really doing?

MUST READ. Every now and again a new writer changes the way stories are written.

This review is from: Dathisbrth: A transcendental thriller (Kindle Edition)

I have been an avid reader since my early teens. A bibliophile to the core of my being. I experiment with a lot of genres as a good read is all I desire. I saw the promotional content and the trailer for this book on youtube and was intrigued enough to go hunting for a copy. Unfortunately, the author had released only ebooks. I have always read paperbacks/hard-bounds but somehow I took my chances of reading my FIRST ebook; Dathisbrth.

Review – No spoilers.
The language is absolutely brilliant! The undue complexity of words was brilliantly avoided. The first few pages had me hooked to the book like Agatha Christie had done when I was younger. The author has a wonderful understanding of the word ‘Mystery’ and every turn of the page had a surprise in store. Nowhere was it overdone or written just for the sake of creating a thrill. Fast paced, thrilling, relatable, scary at times and fluid are the few words that can describe this wonderful journey of a book.
I don’t usually write reviews unless the book is excellent or ridiculously bad. This one will stay in my shelf for years. Looking forward to more such young and brilliant authors.

Title shrills story freaks out

This review is from: Dathisbrth: A transcendental thriller (Kindle Edition)

A commendable job by writer to take reader through the roller coaster of life and death, question one’s own existence in the prism of four close friends.
Although on his debut but Watch out for the writer for days to come…he may surprise with his uncanny story telling that is more or less to spell bound the audience.😊
